Proprietors Sam Shener & Nancy Sullivan-Shener are the owners of Lookout Point Lakeside Inn.  They moved from Boston in the Spring of 2017 and transitioned from the previous owners who built the Hot Springs Boutique Hotel/Inn in 2003. Sam brings the skills of corporate management and mechanical engineering with his previous 30-year careers.  Nancy was a Boston area Real Estate Agent for the previous decade, following 20+ years in corporate Marketing and Client Service.  Together with the excellent team already in place, they proudly welcome all to come experience the unparalleled hospitality and beauty that is Lookout Point Lakeside Inn.



Facility & BOH Operations
Sky has been at Lookout Point almost from the beginning in various contractor roles but became a permanent member of the team in 2016. He has decades of experience in building construction and maintenance. In addition to his facility/maintenance role, his flair for fine food and cooking has brought him into our kitchen overseeing our menus and cooking staff. Not to mention his incredible baking skills – our cookies and breakfast baked goods are becoming legendary because of Sky.


Office/OTA Liaison

Sheila relocated from Dallas to Hot Springs in the summer of 2016, and luckily she found her way to Lookout Point. Following years in the banking industry focusing on customer concerns, Sheila is a natural fit to provide great hospitality at the inn. She loves to cook, and has a definite artistic flair.


Office/Social Media

Alana came to Lookout Point after working for five years for a luxury boutique hotel group in the Northeast.  Recently settled into Hot Springs, Alana loves travel, hiking, the outdoors and recently embarked on a quest to visit every national park in the country.


Office Support/FOH Operations
Following a career in library science, Sherry brought her love of service to others to the hospitality industry.
Sherry worked in small, Southern b&b’s in South Carolina and Tennessee before joining our team in January 2018. Sherry enjoys flower gardening, cooking, and all things “crafty.”


Office/Beverage Operations

Don joined the team in early 2018 after relocating to Hot Springs from Colorado. Don brings with him decades of food & beverage experience after working in hospitality, bar-tending, and catering management.
