Oh… my… hops! For the first time ever, Budweiser Clydesdales will join the fun of the First Ever 15th Annual World’s Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Many of the guests at our Hot Springs bed and breakfast will attend the popular local event, which is always a blast and features a free post-parade concert.
If you can’t make it to Bridge Street on March 17, 2018, we’ve rounded up a list of more reasons to raise a glass (at a local Hot Springs brewery).
Bubba Brews Taproom
Even for those guests of Lookout Point Inn who return to Hot Springs year after year, there are always new places to visit. Bubba Brews Taproom is a newcomer to downtown, though it is not the first location brought to us by its Hot Springs native owners. The Taproom has great ambience, local Arkansas beer, and menu items like Mini Pork Belly Corndogs.

Superior Bathhouse Brewery
If you haven’t made it to Superior Bathhouse yet, you should definitely add it to your bucket list, or your growler list – whichever comes first…it’s a completely unique experience. As the only brewery in the country operating within a National Park, they offer you a seat in a renovated historic bathhouse and serve you beer brewed with the famous Hot Springs spring water. Travelers who like their beer on the funky or sour side, you’re in luck: Superior Bathhouse has released their first craft brew made with Brettanomyces.
Steinhaus Keller
For another classic Hot Springs brewery experience, try German restaurant Steinhaus Keller. The staff is knowledgeable and the “bier” list extensive. Indoor and outdoor seating provides a great atmosphere for enjoying an import, some wurst, and apple strudel in the late afternoon or evening.

Craft Beer Cellar Hot Springs
Craft Beer Cellar is the only retailer that makes this list of Hot Springs hotspots, and for good reason! This shop run by a Hot Springs local, hosts events every week, including tap parties and tastings. If you make it to town for St. Patrick’s Day fun, you should know they participate in a downtown Beer Block Party starting at 4PM!

Grateful Head Pizza and Beer Garden
Of course, we could probably write an entire blog post about great places you can pair pizza and beer in Hot Springs, but for today we’ll focus on Grateful Head Pizza. It’s located very close to the free public parking garage downtown, and their laid back environment sometimes features live music. The definite star, though, is their terrace beer garden!

We hope to see you at the St. Patrick’s Day festivities! Just in case you can’t make it (or even if you can) there is a local Hot Springs brewery for you to kick back and celebrate any day of the year! To complete the perfect getaway, come stay at our top rated bed and breakfast at Lookout Point Inn, and enjoy breathtaking views of Arkansas’ Lake Hamilton and our gardens.
