Every holiday weekend (Memorial Day, and July 4th), Hot Springs’ local residents and travelers are treated to a spectacular fireworks show over the waters of Lake Hamilton. The display lasts about 30 minutes, and well worth the wait for dark to settle in! The fireworks explode just north of Lookout Point just off the causeway on Highway 7 (Central). The accompanying rumble of the explosions bouncing off the surrounding mountains and the boat docks fascinates!
For the best viewing, we recommend the fireworks cruise of the Belle Riverboat where you can get a front row seat at the open air top level of the boat. Other possible sites for viewing this great show, for Lookout Point lodging guests, is simply to walk to the top of our hill with your lawn chairs and look north. Some people arrive early along Highway 7 and park on the should for some great viewing.
The 4th of July in Hot Springs is always spectacular! This year, come join the fun at the inn. We’ll make other fun suggestions for a holiday trip to our beautiful Hot Springs bed and breakfast. Call 501-525-6155 or book online. A few rooms are still available for the July 4th, 2017 weekend, but they will definitely fill up!
