A Room with a View

Where to Celebrate World Labyrinth Day

Lookout Point LabyrinthOn May 3, 2014, the Sixth Annual World Labyrinth Day will be taking place. People from all over the world will take time out of their weekend to walk a labyrinth in honor of peace and healing.

When the Inn was built 11 years ago, I knew the garden needed the symbol of peace that the labyrinth would provide. The Chatres design is intricate, with twists and turns leading to a six-petal rose in the center. As you travel to the center of the labyrinth, you explore the entire area; this creates a longer meditation experience, and leads to the spiritual enlightenment that the rose symbolizes.

Come celebrate the healing powers of a peaceful walk at Lookout Point by walking the labyrinth in our garden. From 11am-12:30pm, you can meditate while enjoying the view of Lake Hamilton. To take it one step further, we ask that those that walk the labyrinth here donate $5 towards CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), which helps to make the lives of children more peaceful.

If you’d like to add a stay at our Hot Springs luxury lodging to your relaxing weekend, you can reserve your room online or call 501.525.6155 for more information.
