The annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival will celebrate its 22nd year from Oct. 11-20, 2013. As per usual, it will show a variety of films, from short to feature length. The festival will take place at the Arlington and the Maxwell Blade Theater in the historic downtown area.
Since the beginning, the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival has entertained and educated more than 400,000 people. Along with the films shown, the festival also has cultural activities and special programs for participants to enjoy. Through forums, discussions groups, and teaching, HSDFI brings social knowledge to all ages through film.
The festival is run by the Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute, which houses one of the largest documentary film libraries with over 18,000 titles. The staff, over 200 volunteers, and board of directors are very excited for this year’s event, and we certainly are, too! For ticket information for the HSDFF, view their website.
