If you’re beginning to wonder what you might be getting friends and family for Christmas, one suggestion I have is to make plans to come to the annual Hot Springs Arts & Crafts Fair Oct. 4-6. Of course, you’ll see things you love and want to buy for yourself, but you might also find distinctive items for Christmas gifts.
The Arts & Crafts Fair has been a Hot Springs tradition since 1968 and continues to grow and expand each year with more than 250 craftsmen, artisans and vendors from Arkansas and other states. The Fair is located at the Garland County Fairgrounds. The Extension Homemakers Building at the Fairgrounds adds to the Fair by offering hot, nutritious foods and snacks.
This event unofficially kicks off the Christmas gift buying season with out of the ordinary gift ideas from hand-tuned wind chimes to decorative painted gourds or tin can art. Why not make the Fair a weekend event and attend all three days while staying with us at Lookout Point Inn? Other guests will also be attending the Fair and, oh, the stories we’ll have to share. Make your reservations online or call 501.525.6155. For more Arts & Crafts Fair information, visit their website.
