Jim and Wendy traveled a long distance to marry: all the way from England to Hot Springs. The lovely and kind couple exchanged vows

on a rather balmy December afternoon, allowing great photos in our gardens.

Incorporating British traditions into the setting, the initial toast was for the Queen, followed by a toast to the couple–a first at Lookout Point!

Sara and Michael exchanged vows on a beautiful autumn day, right at the waters edge of Lake Hamilton.

Beautiful couple

Last week, the rains stopped in time for a garden wedding along the shores of Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs. Surrounded by immediate family and friends, Terry & Cassie exchanged vows and rings.

This sweet, fun couple were perfectly relaxed and calm for the wedding. The high heels were kicked aside right after the ceremony, opting for barefoot comfort. Congratulations to Cassie & Terry!

On March 29, 2010 Keith and Marla exchanged vows on the meditation labyrinth at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn. With calm Lake Hamilton and the Ouachita Mountains as a backdrop, this happy couple began their married life. It was a joy to officiate at their wedding!

It was a joy to be a part of the Jennings wedding last Sunday at Lookout Point. Katie looked gorgeous in her gown as she walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. Her daughter Analee walked in front with her miniature bouquet. She was a beautiful little angel!

Katie’s brother played the guitar as Katie walked down the aisle. The ceremony took place in the garden near the waterfall. The couple and Analee participated in a sand union using white, black and pink sand. The sand unity was just lovely, and the perfect touch for their wedding.

Congratulations Katie and Joshua on your marriage! Best wishes for a long happy life together!

: Nancy & David wed at Lookout Point

On June 1, 2009 Nancy and David exchanged vows in the gardens of Lookout Point Lakeside Inn. It was an honor to officiate at their wedding, and share in this high holy moment! Following is an excerpt from Nancy:

Just wanted to tell you how very pleased and happy we were with our wedding at your beautiful inn last week! We couldnt have asked for a more lovely setting to begin our life together. The grounds are so beautifully maintained and the romantic Hot Springs Suite was a dream come true. We will both remember the extremely touching ceremony for the rest of our lives.

I wanted Ray to see how well he did snapping photos. These are just a few of them and they will all be treasured forever.

Words can’t express how appreciative we are for the kindness and grace shown to us by you, Ray and members of your staff.

Lakeside Garden Wedding in Hot Springs

Congratulations to Josh & Amy! Vows were exchanged at the water’s edge on Lake Hamilton, with Amy looking beautiful in a stunning gown, and Josh dapper with a gorgeous tie.

When they went out to dinner following the wedding & reception, we encouraged Amy & Josh to wear their wedding clothes to the restaurant. They discovered how thoughtful and nice strangers are to newlyweds. At the restaurant, parking spots were hard to find, so Josh was letting Amy out at the door while he searched. Once folks saw this beautiful bride getting out of the car, they offered to move their car so Josh could have the prime spot. While dining, other people sent roses to their table in congratulations. Another reminder that Hot Springs is a cool town, and every wedding is a time to celebrate.

Thank you, Josh & Amy, for allowing your friends at Lookout Point to share in this special day!
