Easter Sunrise at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn, Hot Springs

April 12th, 2009 by Ray Rosset

easter-09-001Every Easter, I have the great privilege of celebrating Easter with a sunrise service on our lakeside garden labyrinth. This morning the rains held off until after the service, the birds sang out in loud chorus, and we heard the holy resurrection story from the Gospel of Mark, in both English and Spanish. Guests, staff, and friends are gently invited to the service. Our guests tell us that they feel invited, but not pressured in any way to attend. Some watch the service from their windows, others savor much needed sleep.
A blessed Easter to all!

Mother/Daughter Getaway to Lake Hamilton

March 15th, 2009 by Ray Rosset

Mother & Daughter getawayLarie & Abby, from the Dallas area, enjoyed a weekend away from responsibilities and work.   After two days of pampering, including a soak in the Hot Springs thermal mineral waters and great dining at Central Park Fusion, the duo returned home refreshed.  What a great way to spend time with one of the most important persons in your life–your mom or daughter.  Thanks for coming to Lookout Point, friends!     –Kristie

Lake Hamilton ( the lake surrounding Hot Springs Arkansas in the Ouachita Mountains) water levels have returned to normal just in time for fish spawning. Every room at the inn overlooks Lake Hamilton and these gardens.
