MOCA Hot Springs Features Ansel Adams

July 3rd, 2010 by Ray Rosset

The early works of Ansel Adams, the master of American landscape, are displayed at the Hot Springs’ Museum of Contemporary Art until August 1.  Museum of Contemporary Art, Hot Springs, Ansel Adams

Did you know that Adams was torn between being a concert pianist and a photographer?  According to MOCA, he famously likened the photographic negative to a musical score, and the print to the performance. You’ll admire 50 of his prints, on display until August 1.

Come stay at our Hot Springs bed & breakfast, convenient to the downtown museums yet nestled on beautiful Lake Hamilton.
