In preparation for an October wedding, Kelley chose to have her bridal portraits
taken at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn. The labyrinth, gardens, and interior of the inn compose a stunning background for a beautiful bride. To schedule a time for a bridal photography session, simply call the inn at 501-525-6155. Cost is only $50 for one hour, and includes up to 4 people (bride, photographer, assistant, and mother of the bride).
Photographer Jason with The Photo Standard went to great lengths to get the perfect shot, including standing on a balcony railing, capturing a photo on labyrinth. He also stood on a tall ladder to snap a shot of the bride leaning over a balcony. It was fun!

It was a joy to be a part of the Jennings wedding last Sunday at Lookout Point. Katie looked gorgeous in her gown as she walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. Her daughter Analee walked in front with her miniature bouquet. She was a beautiful little angel!
Katie’s brother played the guitar as Katie walked down the aisle. The ceremony took place in the garden near the waterfall. The couple and Analee participated in a sand union using white, black and pink sand. The sand unity was just lovely, and the perfect touch for their wedding.
Congratulations Katie and Joshua on your marriage! Best wishes for a long happy life together!

A unique departure from a beautiful wedding at Lookout Point Lakeside Inn! Stacey & Marshall brought their jet ski, and his sister created a lovely “Just Married” sign for the back of the jet ski. Their wedding clothes remained dry!
Congratulations and best wishes to Marshall and Stacey on your marriage!

- Married at Lookout Point
Congratulations to a beautiful couple, Dey and Mark! Surrounded by immediate family, they exchanged vows on the labyrinth in the Lookout Point gardens. Dey selected chocolate brown and baby blue for her colors, accentuated by yellow roses.
At the point in the wedding ceremony when Dey and Mark were invited to turn to face each other, a look of panic crossed her face. The ring! The wedding ceremony was placed on paused momentarily. Quickly, one of the wedding guests walked to Dey’s room to retrieve Mark’s wedding band. One of the joys of intimate outdoor weddings is flexibility and a relaxed environment.
Best wishes to this wonderful couple! —-Kristie

- Nancy & David wed at Lookout Point
On June 1, 2009 Nancy and David exchanged vows in the gardens of Lookout Point Lakeside Inn. It was an honor to officiate at their wedding, and share in this high holy moment! Following is an excerpt from Nancy:
Just wanted to tell you how very pleased and happy we were with our wedding at your beautiful inn last week! We couldnt have asked for a more lovely setting to begin our life together. The grounds are so beautifully maintained and the romantic Hot Springs Suite was a dream come true. We will both remember the extremely touching ceremony for the rest of our lives.
I wanted Ray to see how well he did snapping photos. These are just a few of them and they will all be treasured forever.
Words can’t express how appreciative we are for the kindness and grace shown to us by you, Ray and members of your staff.
Thank you again, Nancy
We wish all the best to David and Nancy!

- Carissa & Jerry
With tears in eyes, Carissa & Jerry quietly spoke their marriage vows to each other before family and friends. The wedding was held on May 16, with the raining holding off during the ceremony and for pictures in the gardens.
For wedding favors, the couple provide personalized drink cozies and chocolate bars. Nice touch!
Best wishes, Carissa & Jerry! Another great couple married at Lookout Point.

The lush green gardens of Lookout Point Lakeside Inn welcomed the wedding of Aaron & Shannon on May 8. Following the rains, the gardens are bursting forth with new growth. The calm and happy couple beamed throughout the ceremony. Shannon carried the vintage family Bible, given by her mother and carried at her own wedding years ago. A nice touch! Congratulations and best wishes,

From the Dallas Morning News, April 17, 2009: 18 Romantic Getaways in Texas and Neighboring States. Special Contributor Judy Wiley writes “Exotic honeymoon choices looked good about a year ago. And then, as if brides-to-be didn’t have enough to worry about, the economic crisis slammed into their wedding budgets.” Cutting back on the dress, the wedding site, and the rings isn’t likely to happen. So Wiley suggests great honeymoon destinations in Texas and the surrounding states.
Lookout Point Lakeside Inn is featured from Arkansas, and we’re honored! Called a hot spot, and “mighty pretty”, Lookout Point offers several honeymoon packages and wedding packages. Our rooms fill up quickly in the summertime, so if you’re seeking the perfect romantic and private honeymoon site, call the inn (501-525-6155) soon.

A post-wedding kiss
Jessica & Seth exchanged vows under the shelter of the porch last Saturday with loving parents in attendance. Following the wedding ceremony and cutting of the cake, the rain ceased. The weather break provided a great opportunity for photos in the gardens. Check out the Jessica & Seth’s umbrella photo on our weddings page photo gallery. I know that I keep repeating myself, but Lookout Point welcomes the NICEST people in whole world. Jessica & Seth are two great folks, and we wish them great happiness.
