Every Easter, I have the great privilege of celebrating Easter with a sunrise service on our lakeside garden labyrinth. This morning the rains held off until after the service, the birds sang out in loud chorus, and we heard the holy resurrection story from the Gospel of Mark, in both English and Spanish. Guests, staff, and friends are gently invited to the service. Our guests tell us that they feel invited, but not pressured in any way to attend. Some watch the service from their windows, others savor much needed sleep.
A blessed Easter to all!
