The First Ever 6th Annual Worlds Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade fills downtown Hot Springs with green, laughter, and entertainment as the parade begins and ends on the worlds shortest street, Bridge Street. Celebrities include Grand Marshall John Ratzenberger, the famous San Diego Chicken, and the Irish Elvi (multiple Elvis impersonators). I’m not sure of the Irish connection with the Chicken, but heck, it’s all in good fun. We attended the parade last year, and part of the fun was watching the many dogs adorned in all sorts of Irish garb. Some looked mighty embarrassed.
If you can make it to Hot Springs for the St. Pat’s parade, Lookout Point has two rooms remaining available: the Evening Shade Room and the Hot Springs Suite. Just give us a call to make the reservation. 501-525-6155. Following the parade, you’ll even see green fireworks.
